We love Ms. Sharon! She is so fun and encouraging to my young players, explains things very well,
and keeps lessons moving so she keeps their attention. I love that she is teaching them theory and rhythm.
She is such a perfect balance of no-nonsense and straight forward while still being personable, enthusiastic, and kind.
She doesn't waste time but she doesn't rush through the lessons either. It's obvious she has lots of
experience teaching all ages by the way she interacts with my girls (ages 6 and 8) and you can tell that
she enjoys what she does. I also appreciate her clear communication, both with myself and my girls.
Additionally, Ms. Sharon is very adept at utilizing various computer/technology tools and is thankfully
very patient and understanding with my ineptitude in that realm!
She is a true gem and we are so thankful she was recommended to us!
Taking lessons from Sharon gave me a wonderful personal relationship with my teacher,
as well as the discipline and tools I currently use to study violin in college.
Through great progress or plateaus, she inspired me to put full effort into following my passion for violin,
and I love still being able to connect with her and be encouraged and supported after over 10 years of lessons.
My two daughters took music lessons from Sharon from kindergarten through high school.
Through private lessons, orchestra, and ensemble, they learned a wide variety of musical genres.
Their love for music was given every opportunity to flourish under her tutelage. Sharon collaborates
with parents and helps each student develop their skills and discover their talents.
Sharon is a great musician and an excellent teacher. I took lessons with her for 5 years in total,
and she helped me build a strong foundation in technique, musicality, and playing with a relaxed posture.
The fundamentals she taught me have helped me succeed as a music performance major.
Her step-by-step approach to technique gave me a clear idea of my skill level and how to improve after every lesson.
